Potato and peas samosa filling served quesadillas style! Lighter and far crispier than regular samosas!

I used 5 large potatoes cubed then steamed till cooked and drained.

For filling.

2 onions chopped really small.
1 tbsp chilli flakes.
2 tsp salt
2 tsp gharam masala
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp coriander powder
5 chillies chopped.
2 tbsp of coriander seeds crushed with pestle and mortar.
1 cup frozen peas.
Veg oil.

Heat a few tablespoons of oil in nonstick pan.
When hot add 1tbsp cumin seeds…let it sizzle.
Add chilli flakes…after few seconds stir stir in the onions.
Cook till soft and golden, then add
Chilli powder
Cumin powder
Coriander powder.
Cook this for about 5 minutes stirring on med heat and then add the peas.
Cook till peas done.
Add potatoes….gharam masala, green chillies and crushed coriander seeds.
Stir and break up potatoes.
Cook for about 5mins on low heat and its done.
Taste for salt.

Used 8 tortillas that I buttered on both sides and each one cooked on frying pan untill crisp up and put aside.

Now place tortilla on frying pan…add filling spread about 1cm thick.
Place another on top and dry fry…heating up tortilla again. It it will crisp further and press down with fish slice.
Flip over and dry heat…
Once its heated up…serve‼️

Sauce is
3 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp mint sauce
1 tsp chilli sauce…mixed.
